TSA hits a new low… and it’s outrageous!
As you might have known back in November of last year, I have posted a rant about the intrusive pat downs and body scanning and why they are so intrusive. If touching little children isn’t enough, don’t worry… you will get outraged by this:

When I heard about it, I got outraged considering the fact that they forced a cancer stricken grandmother to take off her diaper who is probably going trough a lot of stress already. She doesn’t need to go through any more trouble than she needs to. Also, common sense will tell you that this grandmother isn’t a terrorist, especially at this state, so they could have just exempt her and let her be. Unfortunately, the TSA doesn’t care about the moral repercussions and go ahead with it anywhere. This is the part that got me really angry.
I feel that the policy needs to be changed so that the elderly and children doesn’t have to deal with the mental scaring of pat downs. I know airport security is important, but they need to have common sense and sensitivity, which there is a lack of it ever since they implement these pat downs. Also, these intrusive pat downs needs phased out completely and we should just stick to body scanners and train TSA agents to detect suspicious behavior of a terrorist. Otherwise, we should just boycott flying and stick to alternative modes of transportation until the TSA changes their ways.
Pokemon Nicknames and Where they Came From…
Have you always wondered where I got the nicknames from other Anime series? The answer finally lies in this spreadsheet, where I list the nicknames, full name of the characters it’s based off, the Anime, Pokemon Species name, where it’s located now, Original Trainer and Potential (IV Total). I will be updating this at least once a month as I usually breed and train new Pokemon to the pool used for Battle Frontier/Battle Subway/Online Battles.
Note that Pokemon Platinum and Diamond Pokemon are not included in the list since I only really used these games for breeding and stuff. HeartGold and White are the main games used for battling.

New Theme~
I have noticed that Mandingo is displaying most of the content incorrectly and creating some glitches, so I decided to throw the theme out and make a new one for Shiori’s Diary. After hours of readding the Woo-tumblog features to the theme and messing around with the CSS and HTML, I have finally made a theme that looks noticeably better than the previous.
The new theme is a child theme of Twenty Eleven, a theme included in the Wordpress 3.2 default installation. The benefit of this theme over the old one is custom menus support, HTML5 and a better design. Sadly, they have removed the displaying of the sidebars in single posts and pages, so I had to change the CSS and PHP to add them back.
If you notice any glitches or have any suggestions on improving the new theme, just make a comment below. The design is not final since I have to make a few more tweaks and make a new banner, so it’s subject to change.
Update: Fixed the custom fonts issue in Firefox. Apparently, it does not allow loading of custom fonts from different domains.

Yeah, I got RAW support working on this 7 year old Canon camera… Too bad the flash doesn’t work well as it smells like smoke when it gets hot.
Brief Thoughts on Apple’s WWDC 2011 Keynote
Not much to say, but…
- Lion looks awesome and it’s downloadable for the same price of Snow Leopard… downside is, no physical media.
- iOS 5 lives on the iPhone 3GS with better notification system than before. Finally, tabs on Safari on iPad! It seemed that iPhone has for the most part caught up with Android with the addition of OTA updates and wireless sync.
- iCloud is free…
Otherwise, I am looking forward for Lion in July. Anyway, need to get excited with Nintendo’s E3 conference next, which is tomorrow!

My Response: Can’t really say since I don’t really watch anything that are older than the 90s… but I would probably wouldn’t be offended… I understand that stuff with communism and such are controversial, but I guess we need to agree to disagree since its history.

If today is Judgement Day, wouldn’t there be a worldwide apocalypse right now with tornados and earthquakes everywhere like in the movie 2012? There isn’t because the whole May 21st thing is bullshit…
Anyways, rant over… back to my ordinary life… until December 2012 comes, which I can facepalm again!
