Back in the days when I used Windows as my main operating system, the music player I eventually used a lot is of course Winamp. While I don’t use it today as I use OS X nowadays, Winamp will always have a place in my heart because it’s not nearly a bloated compared to iTunes, which decides to glitch once in a while. Believe it or not, although I use iTunes a lot since it’s really the only good player I found thus far, it’s not the best music player since it has a lot of features I don’t even use.
While Winamp won’t be alive in late December when AOL closes it, hopefully someone will pick up the development or make it open source.
