I finally got Movable Type 4 to work on my webhost after 1 frustrating hour in trying to get it work. After that, it was still buggy after I imported my post from my WordPress XML backups. It won’t create the directories for the blog. There is no wonder why Movable Type and SixApart is going downhill, because their software is extremely difficult to set up and extremely buggy. Sure it serves static pages, but everything else sucks…
I never remember WordPress being that difficult to set up. Sure its pretty heavy if you don’t use a caching plugin, but at least it doesn’t take a whole hour to get it to work.
