Olivine, here we go!
Well, as we continue our adventure, I got a new team member I hatched and trained:
Yep, it’s that bird again… and it will make battling Chuck very easy… Now onward to Olivine and battle some trainers again. Before that, I tried that new Pokemon Contest thingy in the game that deals with sports… Now, I absolutely sucked at it and only got 2nd place… god damn!
Sooner or later, we learn from that Jerkass rival that the Gym Leader in Olivine is taking care of some sick Pokemon. Next, we head to the lighthouse to see what is up. Note that you have to battle your way up and you can’t just take the Elevator… Silly me, so I just battle my way to the top. After we got to the top, Jasmine tells me to get some medicine in Cainwood City and battle some trainers there while I’m at it. When I got to Cainwood City, I picked up the Secret Potion, the same used in D/P/Pt and also it’s time to battle the Gym Leader… Before that, we head north and I scared Suicune off again… and Eusine comes and he battles me… augh shit, I have to kick his butt? Oh well… Had some troubles, but I beat him.. and yeah. Now off to the gym!
In this Gym, you have to battle fighting Pokemon, so we will use Kureha since she is a flying type. We need to turn off that waterfall on top of Chuck so we can battle him. Soon, I turn that wrench thing on the top, and the water is gone.
However, this battle isn’t that easy towards the end…
OHKO OHKO…
Failed to OHKO… If Kureha was in the last evolved form, the battle would be easier.
Oh no, not this… and didn’t OHKO…
F***************K! Time to take out Nayuki…
No, this doesn’t manage to OHKO, but instead it uses Hypnosis and puts Nayuki to sleep. God dammit, this Pokemon must be so f**king hard… so I switched to Nagisa… and it used Focus Punch… and…
I’m sorry Nagisa!!! I will treat you later. 🙁 But I know that If I don’t revive Kureha, I’m toast… so I take out Hinagiku and used a revive…
Here is my Lifeline… Thank god I have a Revive
And here I go.. but it comes at a price… I had to sacrifice Hinagku to revive Kureha… 🙁
Yes, I almost made it!
FFFFFFF… it healed itself on the next turn since it couldn’t attack…
Yes, Finally! So I finally beat his last Pokemon, and believe me, this was alot harder than Maylene in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum… After all that trouble, I got the Storm Badge and got TM01, which is Focus Punch.
Next time: Olivine and the Gym Battle with Jasmine… Now excuse me, I have to evolve Kureha once again so I get Close Combat on it. :p
