Now going to the first Gym in Violet City.
After leaving New Bark town, Ethan teaches us how to catch wild Pokemon… WHAT? I already knew that, but okay… and he gives us some Pokeballs… Took some time in the mean time to breed a Feebas, trade it to the game, hatch it, train and evolve it so now I have a healthy Milotic named Nagisa, which will give me less problems for the first two gyms since Hinagiku (Chikorita) is weak against Flying and Bug type gyms.
Afterwards, I left the Pokemon Center in Cherrygrove City to go to the first town, Violet City that has a Gym. This meant I had to battle some trainers to get there… but no problem, since they had weak Pokemon.
Did you say Caterpie? There is some and a trainer full of them! Soon after I finally got there, well time to go to the Sprout Tower to find the Gym Leader.
Same familiar place, but in 3D! The Sprout Tower looks like one of those traditional building you see in Japan… Time to get to the top and battle some old guys while I’m at it… Probably they only have Bellsprout or something and yes, I am right…
After all those trainers, We meet the rival again, but you don’t battle him. Next you beat the elder and you get TM70, which is Flash… We find an Escape Rope and we use it to get out of the tower.
Next up is the Gym Leader. I switch to Nagisa (Milotic) since Hinagiku has a disadvantage with Flying types. The Gym Trainers are Bird Keepers (obviously) and have bird type Pokemon, but they are a breeze since I have Ice Beam. Soon after I beat those two weak-ass trainers, I got to the Gym Leader, Falkner… Now to battle him.
He has a Pidgey and Pidgeotto and see what happens to them next:
You know what happens next. It’s super effective!”
Sayanora Pidgeotto and this battle! That was just too easy. After we beet him, we got the Zephyr Badge and also TM51 which is Roost.
Well, thats all for now… Next is Team Rocket and the next Gym.
