Well, it’s time to start on the first day of adventures. Unfortunately, I can’t fit Hinagiku in the name field, so I had to go with Misuzu… Damn you name fields!!!!
And we are going to play it on a Nintendo DSi. How rad is that?
Anyways, these journal entries will be in a Let’s Play format. I write anything interesting down as we go on to our adventure
Let’s get started. Well, we are are the title screen, and no we don’t need any info.
Yep, that is Professor Oak and with that Pokemon I have seen on the old versions. So nostalgic… Now after selecting the gender (I picked a girl) and entered the name, it’s time to get into the gameplay.
Now, the house compared to the old games is complete different from the old one. Now to head out to Professor Elm’s lab to get our first Pokemon as your mom tells you.
Unlike Pokemon Diamond/Pearl and Platinum, the menu commands are on the touchscreen and pressing X does not show a menu, but allow you to select these items without bring it up. Nifty…
Now off to Professor Elm’s Lab… and remember this guy who pushes you way? We know…
Now, I went to Professor’s Elms lab to pick our Pokemon. He wants us to go to see Mr. Pokemon for something which his house is located above Cherrygrove City. I decided to pick Chikorita and named it
Well, yea… of course. and also took me three tries to get a female one and it comes out of the Pokeball and follows you. Afterwards, we went back to the house to get our Pokegear and Elm as we leave the town gives me his number which is stored on the PokeGear. Now it’s time to head for Cherrygrove City in our next post.
Note: The name is Hinagiku Katsura from Hayate no Gotoku
