Dear Microsoft, just give up already. Internet Explorer is a piece of shit browser and you can never get it to be fully web compliant. You are just making web developers angry because they still have to make their pages work in Internet Explorer since it’s the most used browser on the Internet. If you can’t keep up, just ditch the rendering engine already and use Webkit…
Update: This post was nearly a year old and so many complaints that its kind of dominating the comments list… If you want to avoid the wrath of IE9, just hide the update, this is what I can say…
I agree with you. I am working on a flash based website, that loads perfectly on Firefox, chrome,opera,and safari, heh and guess what IE 9 does not load it well. the components behave ridiculously on IE.
IE9 improved with the latest beta supporting CSS3, HTML5 and close to passing the Acid3 test. However, it still has a lot of catching up with Firefox, Webkit, Opera and Chrome… so yeah, don’t hold your breath.

It really sucks yes, after i installed IE9, everytime i started the browser suddenly I got message internet explorer not responding, before this shit I had IE8 and i never got that error, anyways when I uninstalled IE9, I got a bluescreen in windows 7. and after that a message saying windows live is not working right.
I had to reinstall windows 7 to get rid of that shit.

Yes. IE9 officially still sucks. I cannot search. Searching in the address bar doesn’t work: (no matter what it tries to load a url with my search terms.) And trying to click the box for “Search in the address bar” under Tools > Manage Addons > Search providers — it grayed out. I read about a keyboard shortcut “Ctrl e” to give you a question mark to force a search in the address box… it doesn’t work either…. Microsoft you got any answers???
IE 9 snuck in on me on an update when I was in the shower…it fucking sucks ass..I want 8 back…least I have firefox installed too …-_-
OMG IE9 really sucks, I have switched over to chrome for the nonce. I have already encountered a colleague whose recent installation caused crashes and data loss, not to mention constant browsing and email problems. In my recent experience, due to an all too trusting download of this heap of dung from those wacky (and apparently really lazy) monopolists at microsoft, this turkey treats every attachment for gmail as a profound security threat, screws with multiple websites, prevents entry to certain sites without providing prompts etc…. For those of us who had not quite gotten over the Vista fiasco, this is living proof that MS still does not get it (the it being writing software that plays well with others).
I call this “having to flush the toilet to make toast”. Come on, MS, Adobe, Java, get your crap together and quit fuquing the internet up just so you can spy on us more, have more ads jiggling and joggling, and god only know what else your’re up to. I am ready to go get my six year old laptop out and NOT upgrade on fuquing thing just so I can access the internet. I am going to keep pasting “internet explorer 9 is a fucking piece of shit” into search every hour I am on line.
